在2010年初期流行的小排气量涡轮引擎风潮很多的日系厂商并没有参与，像是Toyota，Honda等大厂在2014年才开始渗入这个领域里，但是并不是所有的日系厂商都这么做，Nissan很明显就是走在了前面，早在2010年 Nissan MR16DDT 就已经推出了市面，而且现在看来这具引擎并不差！
