著名的“绿色地狱”纽柏林赛道（Nürburgring）一直都是许多汽车制造商在开发热血车款时绝对会进行测试的一个圣地，只不过对汽车巨头 Toyota 而言，离日本接近1万公里的纽柏林太远了，加上该处还有无数的狗仔队无时无刻在那里守候捕捉谍照，不喜欢这样的 Toyota 于是就在自家总部砸钱打造出日本版的纽柏林！
