为了鼓励外商来我国投资生产，凡是在国内装配（ CKD ）的新车都可享有政府特定的税务回扣，进而压低车价，也因此不少在国内装配的外国车款在价格上都具有一定的竞争力。
如今有本地报章就指出，政府有意重整国内汽车税务架构，而这个举动很可能会影响未来 CKD 新车的车价！
