Mazda Malaysia 在今日在位于吉打州居林（Kulim）的装配厂举行了旗下最新高端 SUV 车型 CX-8 的下线仪式，该车款也成为了继 Mazda CX-5 以后又一在本地生产的 CKD 车型，而原厂也在场透露，我国装配的 CX-5 及 CX-8 除了供应国内市场以外，也有出口至邻近的国家！
