虽然许多人都一直在骂 Proton 不争气，但这个国产品牌好歹也曾经进军西方国家，包括邻近的澳洲市场，不过由于旗下车型过时因此在2017年就退出了澳洲。不过随着 Geely 入驻成为合作伙伴，并推出了基于 Boyue 打造的 Proton X70 以后，开始显现竞争力的 Proton 如今就考虑再度进军澳洲！
