Mercedes-AMG 在2018年北美底特律车展上发布了全新的 Mercedes-AMG 53 系列，介于 43 系列及 63 系列之间的新车系采用 3.0L 双涡轮引擎搭配轻度混合动力系统，而一同发表的还有 CLS 53 、E 53 Coupe 及 Cabriolet 车型，成为 AMG 首个混动车系！
