Honda Civic 在日本算是一款经典的国民车，但由于中型房车市场在当地日渐萎缩，Honda基于Civic在当地销量不佳，于2010年忍痛宣布停产，当地末代Civic为2008年发表的Civic FD Hybrid，而Civic FB并未在当地上市。日规版Civic FC预计将于7月底于当地发表。
